He’s neutered, independent, a little weird (in that classic Chow way), and not here to people-please. Aslan is slow to trust and can be grumpy when pushed too fast, so he’s looking for an experienced adopter or rescue who understands the breed and is willing to give him the time, space, and patience he needs to feel safe.

This is not a beginner dog — but for the right person, Aslan has the potential to be a loyal, one-of-a-kind companion. He just needs someone who respects his boundaries and lets him come around on his own terms.
