Today marks 1 year since Island Dog Grooming opened, and I honestly can’t believe it. What started as a dream and a big leap of faith has turned into something so special.

This past year has been full of learning, growth, long days, and challenges, but also so many wins. There were moments I felt scared and unsure, and moments that reminded me exactly why I started. Getting to care for your dogs, earn your trust, and build real connections with both pets and their owners has meant more to me than words can say.

Because of the amazing support from my clients, this first year has been more successful than I ever imagined. Every appointment booked, every referral shared, and every kind word helped build Island Dog Grooming into what it is today. None of this would be possible without you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my small business and trusting me with your fur babies. I am so proud of how far Island Dog Grooming has come in just one year, and I am so excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to year one — and many more to come 🐾💙

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

I just wanted to take a moment to highlight this incredibly sweet girl, Pumpkin. She’s fully blind, and her gentle spirit and trust are a big part of why I love what I do so much.

It means the world to me that she feels safe and comfortable coming into my shop for one-on-one grooming. Being able to give her that peaceful experience, where she can relax and feel cared for, is something I’m truly grateful for.

Moments like these are a beautiful reminder of why this work fills my heart. 💛
