Meet Remy (pronounced Reem-ee
Remy is an eight-year-old female spayed Rottweiler. Unfortunately, Remy’s elderly owner fell and broke her femur and is going to be permanently living in a care home where she can no longer have Remy. Remy is currently being cared for by neighbors, but needs a new forever home where she can get the loving care and attention she deserves. Remy’s history with other dogs and cats is unknown so she will need to be in a home with no other animals. Remy is a sweet girl who is housebroken, non-destructive, and enjoys spending most of her day laying on her big dog bed! Remy is overall a healthy, senior dog and current on her vaccines, but sadly tore her ACL about a month ago. Surgery is not going to be pursued for Remy and this is being managed with daily anti-inflammatory medication and keeping her activity limited. Some funds have been gathered from Remy’s previous owner and amazing good Samaritans and Blue Cross Pet Hospital to help with Remy’s care. If you are interested in hearing more about Remy please call Blue Cross Pet Hospital and ask for Sarah. 🐶❤️

Hello Blue Cross Pet Hospital friends, meet Lottie! We are looking to find Lottie her new forever home. Lottie came to us as a kitten living on the streets and we took care of her and gave her to a wonderful home for the last 2 1/2 years. Unfortunately, Lottie‘s owner has become ill and can no longer keep her where she is now living. One of the most important things to Lottie‘s previous owner was finding her a new loving home. Lottie is a special case because she does test weak positive for the feline leukemia virus. She will need to be indoors only and be in a home that has no other cats. Lottie is a clinically normal cat with no symptoms of bad health. Many cats with feline leukemia can still live a long happy normal lifespan with good nutrition and regular vet care. Lottie is about three years old, spayed, and current on her vaccines. She is super sweet and loves attention and being brushed. If you are interested in making her part of your family, please give us a call or come on in! 😻

February is National Pet Dental Health Month The American Veterinary Medical Association created this nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene for dogs and cats. It serves as a reminder to check for signs of dental disease, such as broken teeth, bad breath, dental calculus, or plaque buildup on teeth and to schedule professional cleanings at your veterinary practice. Dental hygiene matters to your pet because if untreated it can lead to pain, tooth loss and systemic health issues, such as kidney and heart issues. 🦷🪥

Hello friends, meet Lucky! 🐾☘️
Lucky was brought to us by one of our great clients that found him on her property, and that is where his Luck turned around. He had an injured eye, and DR Raymond did surgery called an enucleation. Lucky is now about 4 days post op, doing great and looking for his furrever home. Lucky is super sweet and purrs non stop. He has been fiv/felv tested, and had his first fvrcp vaccine. He was too small and young at this time to be neutered, so that will need to be done in the next couple months. If you are interested in Lucky please give us a call or come bye the hospital.
