Sign ups for the amateur race are now open on saddlebook. Please remember this is for TRUE amateurs only. People MUST be pretty unfamiliar with riding a horse PERIOD. That’s a amateur.

Yes the rumors are true…we will hold an amateur race for our show in September. I haven’t decided if it will be Friday night after poles…or Saturday in the evening, so stay tuned. With that being said..this “race” will have rules and most definitely a different lien waiver.

1. Contestants MUST be 18 and over.

2. Must sign a Lien waiver.

3. Must actually be a (amateur). Don’t put your
brother..dad..sister..cousin Bobby..etc. that can and knows how to ride. This will be an automatic DQ

4. Must wear a costume..helmet..and a “fake” name. Horses do not need to be in costume.

5. Please for the love of Gawd..don’t put your “loved” one on a 1D hot blooded dragon that will most definitely send your loved one to the ER..while we want to have fun and a good laugh..I don’t want anyone getting seriously injured.

Let’s have some fun with this..I’ll even payout to the top 3 in a 3D format!! Basically, I’ll pay you for the laughs at your expense 🤣🤣 I’ll have sign ups for this either day of..or before. I’ll talk to Tay first!!

If you need any advice..ask this man in the photo, Wayne. He was brave enough to do this at NBHA Worlds in Georgia last year!! He was a true sport🤣😬

The Chasin Cans Arena Crew would like to say a big thank to everyone that came this weekend and looks like lots of you had fun! We appreciate all the people that pick up after themselves..

With that..there’s a few of you who hauled in today…and left big messes. I’ve taken notes…and instead of calling you out…consider this your first and only warning. Next time..you will not be permitted to park in the haul in area on the lawn but you will be asked to park on the gravel only. I hate to be that way..but you guys know better.

Also, watched a gentleman allow his dog to poo right near the ring and did not pick it up..consider this your one and only warning. Next I’ll ask you not to bring your dog again.

I’m not trying to be a jerk here but those are easy requests.

Taylor here! We have questions coming in about the September show!

here's a few updates!

🩷 Entries go live August 9th at 10:00am and close at 10pm August 31st or when open reaches 100 entries. NO EXCEPTIONS. WE WILL NOT RE OPEN ANY ENTRIES.
🧡$8000 Added this show. NO prizes. Money added only
🩷Stalls will be on Saddlebook $25 a weekend and there will be a limit. Please only bring horses that are competing if possible.
🧡Once entires close there will be no edits. If you decide to carry, you need to decide before you enter. No more last minute/day of entries/changes.The show office works hard to be prepared before we start and last minute changes can't always be done easily. NO EXCEPTIONS. Don't come to the booth and ask. The only changes we will make will be scratches.
🩷NO refunds unless you have a vet note.
🧡Horse swaps can be done on your saddlebook profile. You can also edit your entries. You cannot delete, but you can add and modify.
🩷The office and announcers booth will be closed and off limits during the show. It's very hard for staff to focus on entering times, announcing and ensuring the timers are working when we have people running around.

You guys rocked it this weekend and we all can't wait to see you September 4th-6th!!
