Thank you SO much to Dr Manor and Dr Distefano for stopping by yesterday from VCA Advanced Oncology department to speak with staff about oncology procedures and updates in the field. We had such a great, informative conversation, we didn’t get any photos! We are so excited to welcome BACK Dr Amber Blackburn!! She will be in our office seeing relief appointments July 23rd

Dr. Amber Blackburn is a small animal veterinarian with more than 15 years of experience in general practice, surgery and dentistry. A graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, she has provided relief veterinary services throughout the Indianapolis area for the past five years and enjoys building relationships with both clients and veterinary teams.

Originally from Frankfort, Kentucky, Dr. Blackburn moved to Fishers after spending 10 years practicing veterinary medicine in Alabama. She and her husband, Justin, a professor at IU Indianapolis, have three children: Dalton (12), Jude (10) , and Kendall (7). Their family also includes two Cairn Terriers, Eric and Ky.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Blackburn enjoys spending time with her family and attending IndyCar and NASCAR races.
