Our cats are all spayed/neutered, m

icrochipped, up-to-date on their FVRCP (distemper) vaccines, and given general de-wormer. Most of our cats are FeLV/FIV tested, and rabies shots are given to most cats over 3 months old. Since we are a foster-based rescue, most of them are with a foster but there are always many the Carmel Petco Adoption Room (off 116th & Keystone) AND at Pawz Pet Cafe. For the foster cats, meetings can be arranged to meet the kitty of your dreams!

***We also bring in new groups of cats and kittens to Petco most Saturdays!!!!*** Come meet our furry friends, wonderful volunteers, and head Cat Rescue Lady, Martha Strong.

We work in Hamilton, Marion, and Delaware Counties, and many places in between. We do NOT support or allow declawing of our cats. We often have cats that come to us already declawed and can consider placing them in a family that prefers a declaw. Declawing often leads to behavior issues such as aggression and improper litter box habits, as well as stress on the cats’ feet and legs. We offer free nail trims for our adoptees at the Carmel Petco most Saturday afternoons. Our rescue's cats and kittens have led a mostly difficult life, so we require them to be indoor cats. We’re the Jetsons…..

And hey there, we have the cutest little Jetson. This kitty is about 14 weeks old and is he adorable!! Jetson is all black which is just one reason why he has a great playful and loving personality. He gets along with other kitties and thinks that everyone’s lap is his safe spot. Jetson was born out side and so happy now to be inside. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia/FIV. But there is one thing he still needs - a home of his very own. He will be waiting to meet you this Saturday at Carmel Petco on 116th Street about noon! 🐈‍⬛

Look who's going to be at Petco today? These gorgeous kitties are ready for adoption. Two our Maine c**n mixes and one is a Russian blue mix. If you are allergic to cats, this little Russian blue might be the answer that you're looking for. The little Maine c**n mixes are not purebred but they are awfully cute and have that sweet Maine c**n personality. FOSTER found! Ready for adoption soon!!!

Paws on my Heart Rescue has a kitty family needing a loving foster. We have a polydactyl cat family with mama and six kittens - all polydactyls with extra toes. They are all black and everyone knows black cats are wise and loving and just the best pets. These kittens need to grow a little more and then have spay/neuter surgery and vaccines to prepare for adoption. Could you please help?? And you can name all of them!! Transfer will be soon.

Got a minute???

Something is weighing heavy on my chest and I’m hoping someone can help me and my sister cat, Stripes. My name is Greenie Beanie. Stripes and I have been trying to find our forever home since 7/11/26. Yes, I know that date because Stripes and I have been tossed about and now waiting in a cage together at Carmel Petco for weeks and weeks now. You see, we are only 8 months old, but we are big kittens and when people come, the tiny kittens run around looking all cute and everything and we get passed by. I used to get up each day and think this was going to be OUR DAY. But then one day, one week melted into the next and we are still here. Both Stripes and I are friendly, loving, like hanging out on the cat tree and even like being carried like babies. Why is getting adopted so hard for us??We love being together, watching out for and cleaning each other. We want to stay together. We’re family. We are past the crazy stage and just content to enjoy each day and make everyone around us happy. Could you please give us a place to grow up-together?? The walls of our cage are closing in, and we really want a window for bird-watching. I promised Stripes I would try to get us outta here. Can you come in? Maybe even this weekend and turn our lives around?

🐾 Hi, I’m Theodore… and apparently I’m not “glamorous” enough. 🖤🤍

I was born June 8, and somehow ALL of my littermates have been adopted except me. Before you start wondering what’s wrong with me, my foster mom says absolutely nothing, I’m purrrrfect! She says my littermates were “glamorous,” and apparently those fancy-looking siblings always get picked first. 🙄😂

Me? I’m a classic black-and-white guy, and I happen to think I’m pretty handsome.

I was bottle-fed since I was 2 days old, so I’ve been loved and handled by people since I was tiny. I’m super well-socialized, affectionate, and I really like being wherever my person is. I’ll follow you around the house to see what you’re doing, curl up on your lap when it’s time to relax, and I’m always ready to play when you are.

Basically, I can do it all: playmate, lap warmer, and personal shadow.

My siblings have all found their families, so I think it’s finally supposed to be my turn. Maybe I was just waiting for you. 🖤

So you want a golden nugget?????

Well look no more! Paws on my Heart has this gorgeous little patch tabby nugget named Nugget!!! Patch tabbies have a sprinkle of orange on their head and through their coat. They are always girls. Nugget is about 5 months old, playful and loving. She is also a polydactyl which means extra toes that are just plain adorable!!! Please meet this girl at Carmel Petco on 116th Street.
