HOW DOGS LEARN (and how people mess it up):

1️⃣ Timing matters — reward or correct right now, not 5 seconds later
2️⃣ Consistency matters — if “no” means “no” on Monday, it should still mean “no” on Thursday
3️⃣ Repetition builds reliability — do the reps
4️⃣ Environment matters — dogs don’t “generalize,” the pattern on their own they need practice everywhere
5️⃣ Your energy matters — frustrated training doesn’t get calm dogs
