🌧️ FLOOD WATCH — PLEASE BRING YOUR PETS INSIDE! 🐾

Heavy rain and flooding are expected. Secure gates and fencing, make sure pets have ID tags, and PLEASE do not leave animals chained or tethered outside.

Storms can frighten pets and damaged gates can quickly lead to lost animals.

🏠 BRING THEM INSIDE. SECURE YOUR GATES. KEEP THEM SAFE.

They depend on you. ❤️🐾

Congratulations to Ranch and his new family!!! We are thrilled for this boy and his new life ahead!

*ADOPTED!*
💙 GILBERT — CERTIFIED BIG PITATO & PROFESSIONAL SNUGGLER 🥔
Meet Gilbert, a 2-year-old, 77-lb neutered pit bull who is basically an oversized baked potato with legs. 😂 This handsome chunk has been pretty low-key at the shelter and would much rather collect pets, snacks, and cuddles than participate in unnecessary nonsense.
Gilbert is good on leash, well behaved in his kennel, treat motivated, and knows basic commands. When you stop by his kennel, he patiently waits for the important things in life: attention and SNACKS. Once he gets some one-on-one time with you, his giant snuggle-bug personality really comes out. ❤️
With other dogs, Gilbert appears to be more comfortable with female dogs and may prefer a home without male dogs. As always, we'd want to make sure any potential canine roommate is a good match for him.
Mostly, Gilbert is just a big, cuddly pitato boy looking for someone who appreciates 77 pounds of handsome, snack-powered companionship. Look at that FACE. 🥹💙

🎾 ELLA — PROFESSIONAL FETCH ATHLETE SEEKING PERMANENT TEAM 🎾
Meet Ella, a 7-year-old, 68-lb spayed sweetheart who has spent 122 days in the shelter waiting for someone to finally choose her.
Ella is an active, playful girl whose greatest passion in life can be summed up in one word: FETCH. Tennis balls? Absolutely. Squeaky toys? EVEN BETTER. Throw it once and congratulations—you've just entered into a legally binding agreement to throw it approximately 700 more times. 😂🎾
She does great with big and small dogs, loves people, happily accepts belly rubs, and is genuinely just a great, great girl. Don't let 7 years old fool you—Ella still has plenty of pep in her step and would love an active family who wants a companion for adventures, playtime, and plenty of backyard fetch.
Ella will need a tall, secure fence to keep her safely contained while she enjoys her outdoor shenanigans. But after the games are over? She's ready for the part she's been missing for the last 122 days: a home. A cozy dog bed of her very own, sleeping near her person at night, and waking up knowing she finally belongs somewhere. ❤️
Ella has spent long enough sleeping in a shelter kennel. She's ready for tennis balls, squeaky toys, belly rubs, adventures, and a family to call her own.
122 days is long enough. Come meet Ella. 🎾🐾❤️
