You know what a 🦚 Peacock looks like from the front, but have you ever stopped to really look at one from the back? Sir Peacock posed so we can see just how amazing the structure of his feathers is. If you look closely, you’ll see that they have 5 different types of feathers that make up their magnificent tail!

Starting Wednesday, June 3, we will offer you the opportunity to visit up close with our sloth and/or capybara family!

🦥Offered daily-Wednesday through Sunday
🤎20-minute session
🦥4 people per session
🤎Recommended age is 8 years old and up
🦥Children ages 8-15 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult
🤎Photos and videos encouraged
🦥General admission is required and not included in experience ticket
🤎$45/person
🦥Tickets are non-refundable
🤎Capybara times-11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00
🦥Sloth times-11:30. 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30

Despite the rain we had a fantastic 🇺🇸Memorial Day 🇺🇸 weekend here at WWA! Thanks to everyone that came out! Here’s a photo dump from the weekend, so take a look and see if you are in any of these. 📸

Also, a BIG SHOUT OUT 📣 goes to a few people….

Jackets Cheerleading showed up all 3 days to paint their awesome creations on kids & kids at heart! They didn’t let the rain stop them, and we appreciate their dedication! And they appreciate your support through the donations you’ve made!

Nicholas County Fire Department partners with us almost every year on Memorial Day Weekend to meet with kids, show off the Fire Truck 🚒, and educate people about what they do and fire safety. Our Fire Fighters are a very important part of our community, and we are so thankful for what they do! And after learning that they are mostly Volunteers, giving of their time and energy for us with very little in return, we have an even greater respect for them!

The Fried Ride And Barbecue Truck is one of the food trucks we have been able to count on no matter what! Rain or shine, last minute when the others don’t show up. Sherry & the family are people of high integrity, and we’re glad to be able to work alongside them during some of our events.
