Happy Dog Stay-n-Play Daycare and Learning Center, Inc. We offer 24/7/365 boarding (crate free dogs and cats) and daycare and grooming Tue - Fri 7-5. However, we try to be flexible to your needs on any day. Just ask.

If we can help you, we certainly try. 217-854-3647 (DOGS). Call for an appointment. Happy Dog Stay-n-Play Daycare and Learning Center, Inc. offers boarding, daycare, grooming and training services. It is a safe and friendly environment for your beloved family dog to come and play and meet new friends. It also is an environment for your loved ones to learn to socialize with other dogs. We have four large rooms for them to run and play and several small rooms for naps or time-outs. All are climate controlled and the floor is rubber. We provide a variety of toys however they can certainly bring their own. They will be assigned a locker where they can keep their leashes, special treats, food or meds if necessary. We also have a 40x60 fenced area in the back for them to do their "business". Part of the outside area is covered for those bad weather days. Come check us out. We also offer boarding at our Greenfield facility. It is decorated similarly to the daycare. We have it painted with the same bright and cheery colors, rubber flooring inside their individual kennel areas and raised beds to sleep on. Their dog door leads them to their individual outside kennel area. From there, we can open their outside kennel right into a grassy play area. All our fencing is 6 foot high. We offer daycare with our boarding if you wish. We will transport to and from the boarding and daycare facilities. Your dog can play and socialize all day long at the daycare. Or, if you want boarding only, rest assured they will still get plenty of love and attention. We will make sure they visit the grassy play area several times a day. We offer drop off and pick up for boarding at the daycare or come on out and visit our boarding facility (call for directions and appointment time). We also offer grooming services. Call for an appointment today. Keep watch for our next training class.

🚨 OUR SHELTER IS OUT OF ROOM 🚨

Things keep going from bad to worse. We've consistently had a population of more than 170 dogs over the last few weeks, despite our best efforts to get pets out of the shelter 😞

And now, we're facing one of the highest average intake weeks of the year with the Fourth of July... already with minimal places to house dogs. 🎆

And... the area is settling in for an extended period of extreme heat, which always results in more intakes. ☀️

What's truly sad about all of this? These pets did nothing to end up in this perfect storm. They are just hoping and praying that one day they can experience a life full of love and comfort. 💔

📢 BUT YOU CAN HELP!! 📢

We're calling on the community to help us prepare for this prolonged heat and this weekend by FOSTERING A PET! Maybe you're getting ready for a staycation at home over the long weekend? If you don't have plans, we've got you covered!

Fostering a pet IMMEDIATLEY creates space in the shelter for abandoned, stray, or forgotten pets who have nowhere else to go.

Fostering is completely FREE. We will provide all of the supplies you need to make sure you and the pet you foster have a successful relationship. And don't worry, we will send home anxiety medication for any dog who needs it to make sure fireworks aren't an issues!

We know adopting is a large commitment. But fostering can be for just one weekend.

Please... make the choice to help the pets in our care who have nobody else to help them.

📅 Our shelter will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the Holiday, so please make plans to come pick out a weekend foster pup before this Friday! ❤️

Practice makes it perfect....with July 4th and fireworks right around the corner we need to practice our containment skills and make them into an everyday habit.
