🐾 A Little Pricing Update from Grooms by Maddie🐾

Hi everyone! ❤️ We wanted to take a minute to give everyone a little update regarding our grooming prices.

First and foremost, we want to say thank you. We truly appreciate every single person who has supported Grooms by Maddie, especially as our little business has grown so much over the past year. We are so grateful to be as busy as we are and to have so many amazing clients trusting us with their pups!

With that growth, however, comes increased expenses. The cost of grooming products, supplies, equipment, and everyday business expenses has continued to go up. We have worked really hard to keep our prices as low as possible for as long as we could, but unfortunately, we have reached a point where a small price adjustment is necessary.

Starting September 10th, 2026, our grooming prices will be increasing.

We know nobody loves a price increase, and we completely understand that! We have tried very hard to make this adjustment reasonable while still keeping our services among the most affordable in our area. Our goal isn’t simply to raise prices — it’s to make sure we can continue providing the time, care, products, and quality of grooming that your dogs deserve while also being able to keep our business running.

We are incredibly thankful for all of you who have supported us, recommended us to friends and family, been patient with us as we continue to grow, and trusted us with your furry family members. 🥰

We hope you can understand where we’re coming from, and we truly appreciate your continued support more than you know!

And while I have everyone here, I wanted to mention something that’s been happening recently. Our texting system and business Messenger have both been having some issues, which unfortunately isn’t something I’m able to control. With the number of clients I have, those are the main ways I’m able to communicate with everyone, so I really appreciate everyone being patient with me while we work through it!

I also want to kindly ask that everyone please keep in mind that I can’t always return a call or respond within an hour. I’ve had quite a few rude voicemails and messages lately simply because I wasn’t able to get back to someone right away.

I truly do care about every single one of my clients and their pups, and I do everything I can to make sure everyone feels heard and taken care of. ❤️ I’m just one girl running a small business with 250+ clients, and sometimes it takes me a little while to get through everything!

If you leave a voicemail, I will get back to you as soon as my schedule allows. If you need a call back for something time-sensitive, just mention that in your voicemail so I know!

🐾❤️ A Quick Scheduling Update! ❤️🐾

First off, THANK YOU! We truly appreciate every single one of you. Because of your continued support, we are currently booking into the third week of September! We are completely booked at the moment, but if we have any cancellations, we’ll be sure to post them on our page so keep an eye out if you’re hoping to get in sooner!

We are aware that some local groomers are currently taking leave, and we are more than happy to help accommodate their clients during this time. We kindly ask that if you are planning to groom with us temporarily, please let us know when scheduling so we can plan our calendar accordingly.

Our longtime and recurring clients will always receive first scheduling priority. We hope everyone understands that we’re doing our very best to accommodate as many dogs as possible while continuing to take care of the clients who have supported us from the beginning.

We’re working some pretty long days (12-hour days are becoming the norm 😅), so if you don’t hear back from us right away, please know we’re not ignoring you! Most days we’re busy grooming, cleaning, sanitizing, or catching up on messages. We also make it a priority to give every dog the time, patience, and one-on-one attention they deserve—we never want to rush through a groom just to squeeze more appointments into the day. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can, and we truly appreciate your patience! ❤️

We never want to have to stop accepting new clients, and we’re going to continue doing everything we can to accommodate everyone. All we ask is for a little patience and understanding while we work through our busy schedule.

Thank you all for trusting us with your pups, supporting our small business, and keeping us so busy. We couldn’t do what we love without each and every one of you! 🐶❤️

🌿 Vacation Notice 🌿

Just a little heads-up that I’ll be out of the shop July 23rd–27th! ❤️

This little vacation is extra special because I’ll be celebrating my birthday and celebrating the start of an exciting new chapter in my life—something that truly wouldn’t have been possible without this little business and all of you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who has walked through my door, trusted me with your pups, recommended my business, shared my posts, or simply cheered me on. Every appointment, every kind review, and every wagging tail has helped turn a dream into reality. I’ll never be able to say thank you enough.

I’m looking forward to taking a few days to reflect on just how far Grooms by Maddie has come, recharge, and enjoy a little much-needed me time. 💛

If you send me a message while I’m away, please be patient with my response. I always tell myself I’m going to put my phone down and completely unplug… but somehow I always find myself sneaking a peek and trying my best to get back to all of my amazing clients anyway! 😂🐾

🐾 I figured it was finally time to re-introduce myself!🐾

With so many new clients and followers joining us recently, I just wanted to say thank you for being here. It truly means so much to see this little business continue to grow. ❤️

For those who don’t know me, I’m Maddie, the face behind Grooms by Maddie!

I’ve been grooming for about 3 years, but I’ve been working in a dog salon since I was 15 years old. Even before that, anyone who knew me could tell you I was completely animal obsessed. 😂 From a very young age, my world revolved around animals, and not much has changed!

Outside of grooming, I have 2 horses and 3 dogs, and they’re my whole world. You’ll usually find me at the barn, out show jumping, doing chores, or spending my days off hiking with my dogs. They really do go everywhere with me!

Speaking of dogs… if you come into the shop, you’ll probably meet our unofficial greeter, Uncle Fester! 🐶 He’s my lazy brown hound who is either passed out in his bed or hanging around the front desk hoping someone will sneak him a cookie from our FREE treat jar. 🍪😂

I started my grooming career in another salon in 2023. Right before meeting my work bestie, Kailyn from Ears to Tail Pet Grooming. In November of 2025, we took a chance and opened a shop together. We each run our own businesses under one roof with one shared goal—to create a calm, welcoming environment where every dog is treated with kindness and every client feels appreciated.

I’m a firm believer that grooming shouldn’t just be about making dogs look good—it should be about making them feel comfortable too. Every dog is treated like one of my own, and yes… I absolutely talk to every single one of them in the silliest voices imaginable. 😆
