For the month of June all eligible pets have reduced adoption fees of only $50! ๐ŸŽ‰Now is the time to bring love into your home in the form of tippy tappy paws and purrs! This Saturday our doors are OPEN for same-day Pet Adoptions, 10am-1pm! Visit our 11 acre campus, located in Carencro, rain or shine, to find a four legged best friend that has been dreaming of you. ๐Ÿ’ž

For the month of June, ALL eligable dogs and cats have a reduced adoption fee of only $50! All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations/prevention/dewormings/etc, and have been medically examined by a veterinarian. You can even be pre-approved to adopt by filling out an adoption form on our website: acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt. ๐Ÿพ Make a difference for those who need it most.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Pinhook Foundation every dollar donated to Help 'Em Home is being matched up to $25,000!โค๏ธ

So far, our community has raised $16,231.12, leaving just $8,768.88 to go before we reach the full match.

That means thousands of dollars are still waiting to be put to work helping homeless animals receive lifesaving medical care, nutritious food, safe shelter, and second chances.

Blindsided couldn't stop scratching.

The discomfort was constant. One of her eyes had become severely displaced, leaving her in pain and causing her to obsessively scratch at both her eye and neck in search of relief.

Our medical team determined that the kindest option was to remove the damaged eye and finally give Blindsided the comfort she deserved.

Thanks to supporters like you, she received the surgery she needed and is now on the road to recovery.

Come meet us at the PetSmart store off of Johnston St. in Lafayette today, adoptions happening from 10am-1pm! Our dogs will also be out and about at the Artwalk downtown, located outside of Cocodrie Collective, 4-8pm!

Our shelter is open week days, 9am-5pm, for walk-in visits! However, for dogs in foster care, please be sure to fill out an adoption form so that our team can arrange a meet and greet appointment: acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt. We will also be at the PetSmart store off of Johnston St. this Saturday, 10am-1pm, AND at Lafayette's Downtown Artwalk, 4-8pm, at Cocodrie Collective!
