Some dogs need to learn brand new skills…
And some just need help using the amazing skills they already have
Meet Luna, a 4-year-old dachshund with a BIG personality. Her mom had already done an incredible job teaching manners, obedience and even really fun tricks, but when it came to seeing other dogs out in the world, Luna had a lot to say… and mom couldn’t quite get through to her in those moments.
That’s when she reached out to us.
By building on the strong foundation already in place, introducing mild and controllable distractions, and helping mom learn how to guide Luna through those “opinionated” moments, everything started to click.
Is Luna completely silent now? Nope.
But here’s the win:
Those big, loud barks have turned into a quick little “chirp” (as mom calls it), and more importantly, Luna now chooses to check in, refocus, and trust her mom to handle the situation.
That’s confidence. That’s communication. That’s teamwork.
We are SO proud of this duo and all the work they’ve put in. Her mom understood the work and dedication it takes to help your dog become the best they can be and boy did she step up!
