Day Camp Week 1 was a small and amazing group!!!!! What a wonderful week! Each camper brought a different perspective to the group. We had some first time riders and some intermediate riders, we had some younger and some older campers... but they all worked and learned together as friends...even though some didn't even know others upon arrival!!!! Some of these pictures are from the first day of riding...wish we would have gotten pictures in the last day ... what great improvement in riding skills for everyone!!! When spending time off the horses, and it is the barn, we learned some horse vocabulary, about horse feed... and so much more!!! So much growth was fostered so many ways with this group! The best though... the laughs and the memories made!!!!!

A first time for everything... these paper plate awards were made by a camper, Morgan, for everyone that was at camp! They were so thoughtful and so accurate with what she picked for everyone. It was heart touching. We also had a camper, Mabel, bring her henna kit and give henna designs, and henna earrings..lol, to the campers.

Such thoughtful, pleasant, wonderful young ladies. Amazing counselors as well!!!!!

We are ready for a week of residential camp starting tomorrow night! Casey and Lightning got to enjoy the freshly worked up rink first though...lol. Both boys are boarded horses, but we love them like they are our own. Sandra Rosbrook and Lexi

Often times, we talk about what the riders gain at camp — what they will do, what they will learn, and how they will grow.

But none of it would be possible without the horses who are loved by so many. There is a total of 35 horses at Triple Crown Horse Camp, letting us find one for everyone!

This particular horse is owned and deeply loved by Debby. His name is **Chico**. He has been part of camp for many years, and he is such an amazing boy for our beginner, beginner young riders.

Just this weekend, Chico was pivotal in helping a 7-year-old little rider gain confidence — confidence her mother was amazed by when she picked her daughter up from our Slumber Party.

He is gentle, kind, knowledgeable, responsive, and intuitive. He knows how to take care of his riders.

Chico has a heart of gold, and we all love him.

Young at heart, with a heart of gold… you just can’t beat it. 💛 Thanks for everything Chico. We know many more young riders will fall in love with you this summer.

The day is off to a great start...farrier has been here, parts of the horses, chores, brushing. The day has just begun!!!! We had last minute cancellations, but we are making the best of a great day with some great campers and counselors!

At Triple Crown Horsemanship Camp we are proud to be a family-run operation built on family values, responsibility, and care. We have offered camp since 1999 and offered riding lessons for many years prior to the start of camp.

Riding instruction is provided by owner and director **Deborah “Debby” White**, a **C.H.A. Certified Instructor** with years of experience teaching children not only how to ride, but how to understand, respect, and care for horses.
