MLC Labradors

Our breeding program strives to produce quality AKC registered Labradors. We are a family based breeding program striving to produce high quality Labradors.

Our program focuses on providing families with healthy puppies.As a small program we only have one to two litters per year. If interested in adding a puppy from us to your home please contact us about our deposits/waiting list requirements. All of our breeding dogs will have OFA results for both their hips and elbows prior to breeding. Along with genetic health testing to ensure that all puppies w

e produce here at MLC Labs will never suffer from several diseases known to affect Labradors. The diseases we currently test for are centronuclear myopathy, degenerative myelopathy, exercise-induced collapse, hereditary nasal parakeratosis, progressive retinal atrophy, progressive rod-cone degeneration, retinal dysplasia/oculoskeletal dysplasia 1, skeleta dysplasia 2. All puppies sold will come with a written health/hip guarantee, AKC limited registration (full available to approved breeders only), vet check, dewormed, first set of shots, puppy packets. Well Phoebe did an amazing job yesterday. Everyone meet the Cinco De Mayo litter and we all know how our labs love food more than drinks so let me welcome Guacamole and chips (Mia must have name), Burrito, Tamale, Enchilada, Nacho, Fajita, and of course Taco. We have babies 👀 for their furever 🏡. Remember all our dogs have genetic health testing and hips and elbows done before breeding. Phoebe and Teddy last pair produced service dog for our Watertown Police Department - NY and the rest of the litter tested positive for the same (but one since he was to full to take the test lol). Phoebe is my service dog and has many AKC titles on her.

Well my time is getting closer within days and mom will be sleeping on the cot next to me. Dr Hill says possibly 8 in here but we will see very soon.

They say I have more then a week to go but I’ve started to feel this weight gain. I go this week to see how many beautiful puppies I’m carrying. Contact us via message for information. Our dogs are genetic tested and have hips and elbows done prior to breeding. And Miss Phoebe is a service dog and her offspring is Luna also the first therapy service dog to our local Watertown Police Department - NY so with this repeat breeding highly potential for service dogs with work.

I need all the rest I can get growing these little puppies 🐶 inside of me can be exhausting, especially by the end of the night. Mom brought home tons of different fruit to make a huge fruit salad for all of us today.

Mommy said no partying for cinco de Mayo tonight since I had a few late nights at the end of March and hint hint we finally after more then a year we will have puppies from Phoebe. So for those who were on the list please contact us asap and for those wanting to get on this list contact us since it seems like our litters are coming yearly if we are lucky. This is a repeat pairing from her last year that produced Luna Watertown PD service dog and when the litter was tested all but 1 had the potential for service dog (and he could have but he was over tired during the testing I think due to being feed which they weren’t supposed to be).

We got to go and do a little visit today with Luna today. She is such a great girl but I might be a bit biased. She does look like her mama just a lot smaller in weight. We will be back to see her again.

Ella update:
Ella is home resting comfortably with a short tail had to give meds because she was getting a little excited at the vets office before leaving and she needs to stay calm for the next 2 weeks for the stitches to heal. And the cone for another 2 weeks as well then hopefully this is problem will be over and no more at least with her will arrive 😆. Thanks Dr Hill for take good care of our baby today and everyday.

Prayers for our Ella tomorrow as Dr Hill will be removing a good portion of her tail due to an injury. Which we have no idea how it happened. She was out playing frisbee and came back with the tip bleeding now she has broken it a little more then half way up and bottom half is dead so as silver lab lovers she will definitely be called a weimaraner for sure. She is our Ella and mommy to so many precious babies and she is 💯 lab and needing a little prayer with her surgery tomorrow since she isn’t a spring chicken anymore lol.

Ms Phoebe was doing her job last week. She always does amazing for the 6 hour car drive one way. She enjoys a night in the hotel away and getting all the attention.
