Hello Cape May County!
My name is James Kaelin and I’m excited to officially introduce my dog training business to the community. For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping dogs and their families build better communication, confidence, and lasting relationships — earning over 100 five-star reviews along the way.
Whether you’re dealing with puppy training, leash pulling, jumping, anxiety, reactivity, or just want a happier, better-behaved companion, my goal is always the same: real-world results using clear, effective, and compassionate training methods.
After relocating to Cape May County, I’m looking forward to meeting local dog owners and becoming part of this amazing community. I offer personalized training programs designed to fit your dog, your lifestyle, and your goals.
Thank you for the warm welcome so far. I can’t wait to help more dogs and families thrive together here in South Jersey!
Feel free to message me with questions, recommendations, or to schedule a consultation.

We sent our 2 1/2 yr old Boxer rescue for 2 week board and train. Prior to training she was anxious, barked a lot and was scared around strangers (men especially). The training we had done in the past wasn’t enough. After 2 weeks with Jim she came back as a sweet, well behaved, easy to manage dog! She is now awesome on leash walks, great on off leash hikes and doesn’t run at strangers at the door anymore. She will even stay on her place when needed. I would highly recommend Positive Response Dog Training

★★★★★ "Im so thankful for Jim! When I adopted a second dog, both of their behavior, especially jumping, pulling, and misbehaving around other dogs, became out of control. Even walking them became a challenge. The training has changed my life with them and I will forever be grateful! I can ...
