🧡If you’ve followed us for very long, you’ve seen some of our laundry posts. Laundry piled up taller than we are from just that day, every day!📏

🧺Laundry is something we have struggled with for decades. It was an all day task, every single day. We wore out more regular washers and dryers than we can count. We knew all along that we needed commercial washers/dryers, but there was no way we could afford them.

A longtime supporter of SEMO Pets understood the scope of this problem. It wasn’t just inconvenient…it was taking up so much precious time that could have been spent focusing on direct animal care. The laundry debacle used many staff and volunteer hours every day.

This sweet friend and supporter came to us with an offer to make our laundry dreams come true!! Now, thanks to the donor who wants to remain anonymous, we have brand new commercial washers and dryers in our adoption center!🎉

This is life changing for us! There really are not enough words to express our gratitude! We have only had them about a week, but it is already clear that these washers/dryers are exactly what we needed! They are saving time and energy, and giving us some breathing room from the all day laundry marathon!

Thank you to our anonymous donor for making this possible! We are more grateful than you will ever know. 🐾🩵🧡

We had a blast hanging out at the Mississippi Mutts "Backyard Bash" over the weekend! Thank you to our loyal volunteers, Abigail and Tom, for helping wrangle puppies and hold leashes while trying to get our pets adopted!! Our Mississippi Mutts gals had the perfect setup allowing our pups to stay in the shade!! 🧡🐾

Our favorite part was getting to see all of our alumni pets who were out enjoying the event with their new families! Our adoptable puppies even got to socialize with a kitten who was working on leash training 🐶🐱

Can't wait until the next time we get to hang out with you guys & huge thanks for hosting this fun event 🌭

😍Sweet Temple enjoyed a couple of Adventure Tails recently! She was terrific in the car and walked well on a leash. She got to have extra snacks and lots of attention!!

Our friend Laurie even took her to spend some time at Annie Laurie's where she got to spend the afternoon and meet new people!

Temple is 8 years old, pretty chill and just a lovely lady all around. She is spayed, vaccinated & microchipped.
