Well… at 4 AM, the rest of the babies headed off to California.
This was the first time I’ve ever had so many kittens leave at once, and I’m not going to lie… I cried harder this time.
I brought Aura with me because I didn’t want her to be left behind feeling the emptiness (and the chaos) without me. Turns out, I think I needed her more than she needed me.
I know without a doubt that I chose incredible homes for every one of these babies. They are going to be loved, spoiled, cherished, and live amazing lives.
But that doesn’t change the fact that I helped Lana bring them into this world. They were born on my bed, in my hands. I’ve watched them grow from tiny newborns at 3 1/2 ounces into healthy, robust, energetic, social, affectionate little troublemakers. And let’s be honest… they’re ridiculously cute at 3 1/2 pounds!
I can’t wait to share updates as they grow. Watching my babies thrive in their new homes is one of the greatest gifts of being a breeder.
Now excuse me while Aura and I adjust to a much quieter house. ❤️
