Our dog Kona has been TRYING to get Mojo to play. Needless to say, I didn’t think it was ever going to happen.

Mojo is your typical working breed and his brain goes “Hey (foster) mom, what are we doing today? What are you doing? What am I doing? Can I help? No? I’ll help anyway! Let’s play! Let’s fetch! What are you doing now? What am I doing now? Let’s do something! “ And so on and so forth…

But I guess a little downtime without me in close proximity and a persistent little pittie mix got Mojo to let his working mind relax just enough… 🐾

PLEASE HELP!!! We need a volunteer to help with grants and fundraising asap. We are looking for someone experienced with a proven track record of raising funds for rescue. We cannot train you. Share this post far and wide!! We are panicking but hoping we will hit the lotto and be able to help Hero.

Mojo training treats in the making! 🐶

5lbs of natural, unprocessed, healthy, lean treats! Aldi for the win! 🥇

Don’t bother buying the 3 ingredient overpriced treats when you can just do something like this! It’s cheaper AND better! ❤️

Also snagged some bone marrow bones from Publix! Hoping Mojo will like them like our own dogs do! 🤞 🦴

Good morning Mojo! 🐾

While I haven’t done any official training sessions yet, setting boundaries and clear expectations start from day one! 🙃

I’m waiting for calm behavior before opening the crate! When he sits and doesn’t push through, looks at me for direction I give him the release work ‘okay’ and open the door!

At the door, he jumps on me twice but I remain calm and tell him no, while calmly attaching the leash and holding his collar to help settle his excitement. He’s testing me right now and that’s totally normal! Now it’s my job to teach him what I expect and praise the behavior I’m looking for! 🐕

Once the front door opens he immediately wants to dart out, but I hold him, wait while he sits, and looks at me for the “green light”!
