What a wonderfully busy Spring Break week! I finished up my time with Archie, Biggie, & Sissy today. I got to hang out with sweet cat Lioness a couple days and regulars Zym, Tea, and Myr too. To end the week I have overnights with my buddies Monte & Kalik all weekend❤️

New clients: Archie, Sissy, and Biggie 🐾

These three came in as human-reactive, fear barkers… so I knew earning their trust would be everything.

At our meet & greet, I got some barks (as expected), but with patience, calm energy, and of course a few treats… we went from barking → sniffing → tail wags → face kisses 🥹

Still, first solo visit is always the real test.

And I’m so happy to say… this morning went AMAZING.

Archie & Sissy remembered me right away. A few alert barks, then straight into tail wags, treats, and love. Like “oh hey, it’s you again!” 💕

Biggie took a little longer. He hung back, barked, stayed unsure… but once he got close enough to smell me and saw his siblings trusting me, everything clicked. Treats were accepted… and then the best moment… he came up for pets 🥹

That’s when you know you’ve been accepted into the pack.

I’ll be doing 4 drop-ins a day this week while their family is on a well-deserved cruise, and they can truly relax knowing their pups are safe, cared for, and building trust every visit ❤️

Fearful dogs just need the right approach, patience, and consistency… and watching that trust build never gets old.

Overnights this week with Monte & Kalik 🐾

Currently on day 2 and these boys already have their roles figured out.

Monte is my official snuggle bug. The second I lay down he is right there glued to me like a weighted blanket with paws. Personal space is clearly not part of his belief system and honestly I’m not mad about it.

Kalik has appointed himself Head of Security. Every night he takes his position in the room like a very serious protector. If anything moves outside, Kalik knows. If the house creaks, Kalik knows. Nothing is getting past him.

And of course Turf the cat has been making her appearances. Mostly for food… but occasionally she’ll allow a few seconds of pets before deciding that’s enough human interaction for the day.

So basically Monte makes sure I’m cozy, Kalik makes sure I’m safe, and Turf makes sure the food schedule stays on track.

The perfect overnight team ❤️🐾

What a sweet, full weekend with some of my favorite faces 🐶🐱

Overnights for the FIRST time with Kalik & Monte and their sister cat Turf, plus drop ins with my previous clients Koda & sweet Gracie, a long visit with Buster, and my usual weekly love fest with Sophie.

Kalik and Monte are the sweetest, goofiest brothers and I’ve always loved doing drop ins with them. I don’t take overnights often, but when their family asked I said YES immediately. I love spending time with those two.

And Turf… who “never comes out”… greeted me by jumping on the bed and letting me pet her for approximately .3 seconds 😂 It would’ve been longer, but the second Monte saw what was happening he wanted in on the action and well… Turf did not appreciate that. Our other pet sessions had to be in secret.

Koda was pure white husky energy and VERY vocal about how much he missed me. Sweet Gracie found what she declared the best rock ever and absolutely had to show me. Priorities.

Sophie was full of love and purrs per usual. She never disappoints in the cuddle department.

Buster was all about yard playtime, patio cuddles in the breeze, and then falling asleep upside down for belly rubs like the happy goof he is.

Weekends like this remind me why I love what I do. Thank you to all my amazing pet parents for trusting me with your babies 🤍🐾

Some little souls just crawl right into your heart.

Moe was that for me. He would literally climb my body just to sit on my shoulder and purr into my face like I was his favorite place in the world. Those tiny paws gripping my shirt, that warm little motor against my neck… it felt like pure trust.

He adored so fully and loved without hesitation.
I am heartbroken for his family who is away right now and cant get back yet. 😢

I’ll miss that sweet little face more than I can explain. I never imagined yesterday afternoons drop in would be the last time you’d crawl up my leg. 💔 Thank you for choosing me, Moe. 🤍 🪽 🐾🌈

Happy Valentine’s Day from the luckiest girl ever 💕

My valentines today are the Foster crew — dogs Otis, Sadie & Fennec… kittens Moe & Bruin… the royal cat lineup George, Posei, Nova & mama-to-be Lana 🤍

Then I get Bubba cuddles, more kitty visits, and I’m kicking off overnights with sweet Stella and her cat crew.

No roses needed when your day is filled with paw prints, purrs, and slobbery kisses. I’m so grateful for the trust you all place in me with your babies. Truly the best job in the world.

Weekends like this are a reminder of why I love what I do 🐾❤️

This weekend was full of familiar faces and regular drop-ins while families were away enjoying some well-deserved time off.

• Bubba got his routine drop-ins so his parents could relax on their cruise knowing he was comfortable, cared for, and right at home 🐶
• Otis, Sadie, & Fennec kept me busy with their usual visits — plus check-ins for Sophie and six very spoiled kitties 🐕🐕🐕🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈
• Finished up the weekend with Miles, and squeezed in a drop-in with Buster 🐶🐾

There’s something really special about being trusted with the same homes and pets again and again. Keeping routines normal, stress low, and giving owners peace of mind never gets old.

So grateful for my regulars and the relationships that come with this job 🖤🐾
