🐾 K9 Outcast Training Spotlight: LEAVE IT 🐾
One of the most important commands a dog can learn is "Leave It."
In the real world, dangers can appear when you least expect them. From dropped medications, toxic foods, sharp objects, and animal remains to strangers attempting to offer food or distractions, a reliable "Leave It" command can protect your dog from potentially life-threatening situations.
Today our handlers worked on building strong impulse control and teaching their dogs to disengage from tempting objects on command.
This isn't just obedience—it's a critical safety skill that helps keep our dogs safe in public environments.
A well-trained dog understands that not everything they see, smell, or want should be touched. Whether you're walking through a crowded store, attending an event, or simply enjoying a day out,
"Leave It" gives handlers an extra layer of control and confidence.
