🎄✨ From Fearful to Flourishing — Meet Jigglypuff ✨🎄
When Jigglypuff first came to us, the world was a terrifying place. This sweet little girl was so scared that she hissed and swatted anytime someone came close. Trust didn’t come easy for her.
But our dedicated staff and volunteers didn’t give up. Day after day, week after week, they worked patiently and gently to show her that humans could be kind. After 102 days in our care, something incredible happened.
A wonderful couple walked in to meet Jigglypuff — and in a moment that took our breath away, she allowed them to pet her during their very first meeting. Something that had taken weeks for our team to earn. It was love at first sight. They adopted her, knowing it might take months for her to fully settle in. 💕
Today, Jigglypuff — now lovingly named Lily — is living her very best life. Her adopters recently shared this update with us:
“Lily has been living her best life since we brought her home almost a year and a half ago. She’s still timid at times, but her personality has greatly blossomed. She’s affectionate, rubs against our legs, talks to us when crunchy treats are coming, and even runs to greet us at the door.
She loves her plastic spring toys, brings them to us as presents, zooms through the house, and now spends her nights resting on the back of the couch, gearing up for more kitty games.”
