3-Ingredient Pumpkin and Oat Crunchy Bone-Shaped Biscuits for dogs
Ingredients:
* 1 cup (240 g) canned pumpkin purée (100% pure pumpkin, unsweetened, no spices)
* 1 cup (90 g) rolled oats (plain, unsweetened, finely ground into oat flour)
* 1 large egg (lightly beaten, room temperature)
Supplements:
None
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, combine pumpkin purée and beaten egg. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.
3. Add ground oats gradually and stir until a firm, moldable dough forms. Let rest 5 minutes to allow oats to absorb moisture.
4. Roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thickness. Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut biscuits similar to the picture.
5. Place biscuits 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) apart on the prepared baking sheet.
6. Bake for 22–28 minutes until firm and lightly golden on the edges.
7. For extra crunch, turn off oven and leave biscuits inside with the door slightly open for 20–30 minutes to dry.
8. Cool completely before serving. Texture will harden as they cool.
Storage:
