🐾💙 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY & HAPPY 6TH ANNIVERSARY TO K9 ENRICHMENT CENTER! 💚🐾

Six years. So many dogs. So many families. So many lessons learned along the way. ❤️

Six years ago, K9 Enrichment Center began with a simple mission: help people better understand their dogs and build stronger relationships through communication, compassion, and trust.

What started as K9EC has grown into something even bigger than we imagined.

Along the way, we met dogs who needed more than training. Dogs who were misunderstood. Dogs struggling with fear, reactivity, aggression, or behavioral challenges. Dogs who simply needed someone willing to listen to what they were communicating and give them another chance.

That journey ultimately helped inspire the Canine Communication Foundation of Florida (CCF). 💙💚

So today, instead of asking for anniversary gifts, we’re asking for something that means much more to us.

🎉 Help us celebrate 6 YEARS by donating just $6 or more to CCF!

Our goal is to have 100 people donate $6 or more in honor of K9EC’s 6th anniversary.

Your donation enables CCF to provide training, rehabilitation, care, and support for dogs who may otherwise have very limited options because of behavioral challenges. Allowing us to continue educating our community about canine communication and creating safer, stronger relationships between dogs and people.

And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser helps us just as much.

As we look back through these photos from the last six years, we’re reminded that K9EC has never really just been about teaching dogs to sit, stay, or walk nicely on a leash.

It’s about relationships. It’s about communication. It’s about giving dogs a voice and sometimes, giving them a second chance.

Thank you to every client, friend, family member, supporter, volunteer, and dog who has been part of our journey.

Here’s to 6 years of K9EC, National Dog Day, and many more years of helping dogs and the people who love them. 🥂🐶

This kiddo is looking for a home!

Bob Needs a Home!

Bob is a 1.5 year old neutered male German Shepard who is looking for his fur-ever home. He came to us after suffering severe trauma to one of his hind legs, which unfortunately required amputation. He has recovered beautifully and is now a happy, energetic tripod who is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving family.

Bob would do best as the only dog in the home where he can receive all the love and attention for himself. He is up to date on his vaccines and heart-worm negative. He also appears to be house trained and has not had any accidents while staying with us.

Because Bob is still young, he would benefit from a family that is experienced with German Shepherds or similar working breeds and is excited to continue his training. He is a young dog with lots of potential and would thrive in a family willing to provide structure, guidance, exercise and training.

Despite everything he has been through, Bob has adjusted wonderfully to life on 3 legs and doesn't let it slow him down.

Happy Thursday, Would anyone be interested in 20 or so frozen packs of Farmers Dog. One of our clients is switching food. Its for a Small dog under 15lbs. Please let me know and we can work out a pick up.

🐾Join CCF.dog and K9EC every third Saturday at Penny's Coffee Bar for our monthly group walks starting at 6:45pm! Bring your pup. meet amazing people, and help spread awareness for rescue dogs that otherwise wouldn't have a chance. Tail Wags, good vibes, and great company every month
