Plaquard Creek Ranch We are a small hobby, fully off-grid family ranch. We love the ESS and ECS breeds, and are excited to share them with you!

We also raise competitive show lambs, and have started a rabbitry. We're working towards offering horseback tours & cabin rentals! Our pups are raised at home, with kids, on the ranch! We believe our pups could do quite well in the show ring, but we are focusing on hunting and agility. If you want a beautiful, well rounded family and working dog, an ESS is what you need! All puppies will be on a spay/neuter contract. Registration forms will be delivered after contract fulfillment.

Princess is supposed to be due in two weeks. She still isn't showing any physical signs of being pregnant. The vet thinks she had a failed conception.. she was acting like she was pregnant, but has no physical signs.
We arw going to continue with her weight management, haha and hopefully our chunky girl can be in a healthier, slimmer condition when her next heat comes around September. We have all summer to get her fit. Haha our chunky couch potatoe looks at food and gains weight.

Miss Hershey had her kits this morning. All must have been still born, she ate half of them. Weird how some animals behave... as humans, we try to "human-ify" animal behavior.. my initial instinct was to get upset, tell Hurshey she was a bad mom.. but in fact, she's not. She knew her kits were stillborn, so she reacted in a bunny way.
Let's hope her next pregnancy goes better.
