Itโs been a year since we started the social media for Binig Performance Horses, and itโs only fitting to reintroduce Thomas as we head into the Futurity.
Thomas Binig grew up in the rodeo world. He rode bulls and roped calves before finding his place in the performance horse industry. His early experience included working as a loper for a cutting horse trainer, riding with an NRHA professional and interning with Dawson Performance Horses. Each experience has helped shape his training approach today.
While earning his Ranch and Feedlot Operations certificate at Clarendon College, Thomas competed on the ranch horse team before transferring to West Texas A&M University to complete his bachelorโs in animal science. At WT, he became a consistent top-ten finisher in the non-pro division and was part of the championship teams: the 2023 Stock Horse of Texas D1 World Champion team and the 2025 NIRSHA D1 Collegiate Championship team.
Today, Thomas is building Binig Performance Horses around a simple goal: adding value to each horse that steps into his program.
As we head into the 2026 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, weโre excited to introduce you to the horses and the program behind Binig Performance Horses.
