Each day of lecture, our students leave with a new homework assignment.

They are tasked with drawing the anatomical structure of the teeth (maxillary molars, mandibular molars, and incisors), hand writing permanent eruption charts, and in some cases take spelling tests, so the new vocabulary actually sticks when they jump into the profession!

The drawings this week show they are not just completing the work. They are paying attention and putting their own personality into it!

This field does not reward shortcuts. You get out of it what you put into it, and this class is putting the work in.

Never underestimate the power of pen and paper!! 🤩🙌🏽

Yesterday we opened the largest class the Equine Dental School of Texas has ever welcomed, and the room was electric! ⚡️

Students were focused, prepared, and ready to learn.

The first day of lecture is done. Today we get back to work, and we could not be more excited for what comes next!!

This work asks a lot. Every hour here follows them into the next stall, the next mouth, and the next horse that needs someone who actually knows what they are doing.

We are truly honored and beyond excited to walk this journey with every student! 🙌🏽

Below we have included important information for IAED certification candidates, students, and clients:

📍IAED Certification Candidates:
• We will be hosting IAED certification on Friday, September 18th in Purcell, Oklahoma.
• We will be reaching out soon to assist in registration. 🤩

📍EDST Students:
• The first day of class is right around the corner. We hope you are as excited to see us as we are to see you!!!
• Wednesday, September 9th @ 8:00am.
Be there or be square! 😆

📍EDST clients:
• Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th are open for horses to be scheduled with us at $50 per horse. Message the page to reserve a spot!

What an incredible group of future equine dental providers! 🙌🏽

A small glimpse into our July semester in Canyon, Texas. We spent long days learning, practicing, and supporting one another, and every single student walked away stronger, more skilled, and ready to serve horses and their owners with excellence.

At EDST we don’t just teach technique.
