It has been a busy week around here! Friends and clients prepping for a busy show schedule this coming week. Best of Luck to everyone as we all seem to be going separate ways.

Bailey Rhea Smith, Paisley Smith & Steely Smith and the entire Owl Canyon Performance Horses crew (Delaney Helgans, Ginger Matney and Dagney Matney) will be competing at the AQHA Versitility Ranch Horse World Show. It was fun having Miriam Stephenson and her clients at the house this week.

Callie Beach is headed to the APHA World Championship Show

Amanda West, Brittany Curlee, Hayley Rusler and I are headed to Douglas for the Colorado Reined Cowhorse Association Firecracker show.

With the help of great friends we safely evacuated our home on Friday. We are so blessed to have amazing friends and a great community. A special thanks to Jay, Wendy and Cutter for helping haul and house horses until it was safe for us to return home.

Jordan Rydl is a senior Animal Science major at Texas Tech. Originally from Boone, Iowa, Jordan has been a member of the ranch horse team for three years and has also served on the team’s marketing committee.

After graduation, Jordan plans to begin working for the American Quarter Horse Association while continuing to show.

Stevie and Darren had a successful show at the Colorado Reined Cowhorse Association Dought Buster. Drawing checks in the Open Derby, Open Hackamore HS1 and 🏆 winning the Open Hackamore HS2.

Congratulations to WTAMU Ranch Horse Team on their back to back National Intercollegiate Ranch & Stock Horse Association Championship titles. Congratulations to Parker Ralston on winning the Non Pro All-Around award. Darren has had the pleasure of assisting over 20 intercollegiate competitors from 5 different colleges in the past few days.
