🧹 Position: Stall Cleaner
🐎 25 stalls per shift
📅 6 days per week
⏰ Morning shifts starting at 8:00 AM

This is a physical, hands-on barn position, so we’re looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, comfortable working around horses, and ready to work!

Horse/barn experience is a plus.

Today, we want to celebrate the people behind every rider’s journey… their parents. 🤍🐴

Thank you for the early mornings, the late evenings, the endless loads of laundry, the hay-covered vehicles, the forgotten water bottles, the horse treats in your purse, and the countless miles spent driving to lessons, camps, and horse shows.

Thank you for cheering from the rail, encouraging through the tough rides, celebrating every little victory, and reminding your children to keep trying when things don’t go as planned.

Horsemanship teaches so much more than riding. It builds confidence, responsibility, patience, resilience, and kindness—and none of that would be possible without parents who choose to invest their time, energy, and love into their child’s passion.

At Iron Horse Stables, we’re incredibly grateful to be part of your family’s story. Thank you for trusting us with your riders, for believing in what we do, and for being such an important part of our barn family.

Your passion, dedication, and love for this barn have created so much more than a place to ride—you’ve built a family, a community, and a place where lifelong memories are made. From first rides to blue ribbons, every horse and every rider has been touched by your hard work and heart.

Thank you for everything you do, for believing in your riders, caring for your horses, and making Iron Horse Stables the special place it is. We hope today is filled with laughter, great memories, and maybe… just maybe… a day where everyone remembers to shut the gates and nobody asks, “What time is my lesson?” 😉

Today we are saying Goodbye to one of our OG's. Otis came to us with one good eye and one not so great(saw shadows only). His eyes did not matter! He carried beginner students around the arena, jumped(very clumsy) some small little x's, trail rode like a champ, always the brave boy and he was the definite go to for ba****ck riding, nice soft and round!! Then one morning he came in with an injury to his good eye, which had to be removed. We made the decision to foster him out so he could have a consistent place to be every day so his shadowy eye would be enough. Dale and Janelle took our guy in and gave him the best retirement life any horse could ask for, green pastures and plenty of food to eat and so much love! 4 years of Love! In the last couple of days his other eye became painful and he has been unable to see at all, bumping into things that he has had no problem with in the past. We made the painful decision for us, best for him and sent him on to a place that he can now see and run, play and be with some of his passed IHS friends. Thank you Otis for your legacy here at IHS and a special thank you to Dale and Janelle for taking care of him and letting him run your green pastures! We will miss you buddy!

🐴 We’re Hiring – Stall Cleaner 🐴

Iron Horse Stables is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team!

Position: Stall Cleaner
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 30–35 hours per week

Requirements:
✔️ Must be able to clean approximately 25 stalls per day
✔️ Dependable and punctual
✔️ Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
✔️ Comfortable around horses
✔️ Able to perform physical labor including lifting, pushing wheelbarrows, and being on your feet for extended periods

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working around horses and isn’t afraid of hard work. Experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and reliability are most important.
