🐾🩺 HAPPY NATIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! ❤️🐾

This week, we’re taking a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible veterinary technicians who make up the heart of Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital! ❤️

Behind every wagging tail, every comforting purr, every successful procedure, and every patient who needs a little extra love, there’s a dedicated veterinary technician working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Our technicians wear countless hats throughout the day. They’re nurses, anesthetists, dental technicians, lab technicians, patient advocates, professional animal snugglers, and sometimes even the emotional support humans for the pets, clients, and coworkers around them. 🐶🐱

They juggle busy schedules, unexpected emergencies, challenging cases, and emotional moments, all while providing the compassion and quality care that our patients deserve.

Being a veterinary technician is so much more than cuddling puppies and kittens. It takes an incredible amount of knowledge, skill, patience, resilience, and, above all, heart.

There are days filled with happy endings and others that weigh a little heavier. Days when lunches are missed, uniforms are covered in fur (and things we’d rather not mention 😅), and the coffee has gone cold for the third time. Yet through it all, our team continues to show up for their patients, their clients, and one another.

To our amazing technicians:

Ali, Sam, Ashley, Joanne, Sarah, Katie, Kate, Jenn, Kasey, Sam Y, Hannah, Kerry, Kiera & Micah.

We see your hard work, your dedication, your compassion, and the countless little things you do that often go unnoticed. We see the extra time you spend comforting a nervous patient, the gentle hands that make a scary experience a little less frightening, and the love you pour into animals who cannot thank you with words.

Your knowledge is invaluable. Your compassion is extraordinary. And your dedication is what helps make our hospital such a special place.

We are incredibly grateful to have such a talented, hardworking, compassionate group of individuals representing Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital.

This week is all about YOU! We hope you know how appreciated you are, not just during Vet Tech Week, but every single day.

Please join us in celebrating the incredible people who give so much of themselves to care for the animals we all love. ❤️

🐾 Happy Veterinary Technician Week to our amazing team! 🐾
