We spent June 26-28th at the Interstate Horse Show.

Crystal DGL and Deni were reserve grand champions of the Arabian Hunter Pleasure division (out of 7 entries) and also went reserve in a tough 9 horse Jack Benny class.

That Fancy Face and Amy were champions of the snaffle bit class out of 4 nice entries.

Then we came home and put up hay in the sweltering heat. 1,114 bales in the barn this week! 💪🏼

Na-Fel Abigail
2014 Welsh Pony Mare
12.1 Hands (49 inches)
Located in Canton, Ohio

🦄Unicorn In The Making🦄

This is one special pony. Broke to drive as a three year old, “Abby” was shown to many championships both in hand and in harness. She was the 2018 overall Grand Champion in hand and driving pony for the Ohio Welsh Pony Association. She spent 6 years enjoying life in the pasture, but has recently been put back to work. Just started under saddle, she is going walk, trot, canter with less than 15 rides. Already shown under saddle as well to a reserve ribbon with an amateur catch rider! Fancy mover and she thinks great. Would be an asset in a lesson/academy program- put your intermediate level kids on her this winter and she’ll be ready for the littles by spring. Or, she would be an excellent partner for a lucky kid. Intermediate rider at this point in her saddle training, anyone can drive her. She does everything a show horse should- ties, cross ties, bathes, trailers, clips/body clips, stands for vet/farrier. No founder or health issues. Just a no fuss kind of pony. I do not have a kids program and she is too nice to stand. 5k- negotiable to the perfect situation.

We had a great time at the Red, White, and Blue Charity Horse Show this past weekend!

High Heeled Lady won all three of her Quarter Horse classes for owner Caroline. She earned blue ribbons in Halter, Hunter Pleasure, and Western Pleasure.

This was the first show for the new team of WC Ciao Milano and Cheryl. They had several nice placings in big classes. Plus, it was the very first horse show for Cheryl’s granddaughter, Aurora. She placed second and third in two big leadline classes!

It’s hard to believe it’s been four weeks since the night of the fire. We want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to the friends, family, and community who have offered so much help and support.

-Thank you to the first responders who helped contain the blaze and kept the horses in the main barn safe.
-Thank you to the neighbors and friends who showed up in the middle of the night offering assistance, clothes, and shoes before I even had the opportunity to process that I was barefoot with no jacket and all of our things were gone.
-Thank you to everyone who has offered clothing, food, horse supplies, and monetary donations. There have been so many generous people. We appreciate all of you so much.
-Thank you to our clients who have offered their time to help with barn chores and have spent countless hours driving around to pick up donations.
-Thank you to Eric and Niki for offering clothing, food, supplies, and space for us to stay in their home. We are thankful to work for good people.
-Thank you to the neighbors who continue to help with the cleanup and rebuilding processes.
-Thank you to our families for their support and help with all of the “little things” you take for granted daily but are necessary to restart your life.

We are blessed to have so many people who care about us, and are extremely thankful for each and every one of you. We will rebuild, we will recover, and we will come back stronger than ever. Here’s to a better 2024!

We have had several requests for pictures from people who are organizing fundraisers. This was taken today at 10:51am. This was our apartment looking back to the stalls.
