⭐️⭐️ REUNITED — CAMMIE IS SAFE! ⭐️⭐️
We are SO incredibly happy to share that Cammie was found today by a wonderful Good Samaritan named Will! ❤️🐾
Cammie’s mom and dad, with the help of CT Dog Gone Recovery Volunteers’ Patti & Mike, had organized a structured search of the area. With Cammie’s two back legs being weak, we were concerned that she may have become stuck somewhere in the woods and unable to make her way out.
Posters had been placed along the trails to alert hikers and bikers that Cammie was missing and, most importantly, not to chase her or call out to her.
While the search was getting underway, a gentleman Will was mountain biking on the trails when he came across Cammie. She tried to get up and move when he approached, but unfortunately she couldn’t make it very far before needing to lie back down.
That’s when our hero of the day stepped in. ❤️
Will was able to gently pick Cammie up and carry her all the way out of the woods to safety. We cannot begin to express how grateful Cammie’s family is to this wonderful Good Samaritan for helping bring their girl home.
Cammie is now with her family and on her way to the veterinarian to be checked out. We are just so relieved that she is finally OUT OF THOSE WOODS AND SAFE! 🙏🐾
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and was ready to help search. What an incredible community!
And a very special thank you to Cammie’s mom and dad for their unwavering dedication to their sweet girl. They listened, trusted the process, accepted guidance, and never gave up on her.
Thank you as well to CTDGRV Mike & Patti for helping guide the family , searching, setting up trails cameras and help organizing the search.
Sometimes it takes a community — and sometimes it takes one very special person on a mountain bike who happens to be in the right place at exactly the right time. ❤️Thank you Will!
⭐️ WELCOME HOME, CAMMIE! ⭐️
We were all so worried about you, sweet girl. Now go get some rest and enjoy being back where you belong. 🏡🐾❤️
Missing in Burlington:
‼️ DO NOT Chase her or Call out to her ‼️
She is very Skittish! No search parties or foot searches. This will just chase her out of the area.
For her safety, please call in all sightings immediately. Please give details of where you see her and the direction of travel. Please do not post sightings on social media.
For her safety, we need to keep the areas quiet so recovery efforts can be made. We want her to find an area where she can feel safe.
She is white with spotted ears. She does have a crooked tail and has some back leg mobility issues.
Please call in all sightings. Let’s get this girl home safe and sound.
