We had such a wonderful day and are so truly proud of all of the riders today. There were a lot of firsts today and a lot of getting out of our comfort zone. Most of the horses at this barn didn't know what to think when they looked in the ring and saw barrels instead of jumps, and those that are used to the barrels weren't used to the indoors. They were all so good! Especially for the costume contest, our horses put up with a lot 🤣

A huge thank you to three of our very own for making this day run smoothly. Debbie Keith, Dee Cook, Sarah Esplin
And to our kids that are always willing to pitch in and lend a hand where needed. David K and Lilly. Thank you to Mikayla Cota and our non-social media barn dad david for the best idea and the never ending support.

A huge shout out to our costume contest winner....Allyse Crobar on Huck. A second huge shout out to Allyse for being an absolute trooper. Iykyk.

Lastly thank you to Allie Fox,Tiffany Tommie Buschbascher-Curran and their students for braving the early morning chill and coming to laugh and jump around.
We hope you all enjoyed the day and had some fun.

Happy Halloween from all of us here at Autumn Ridge 🧡🖤🧡

My mind has been thinking of this girl's progress since her owner sent me her comparison photo yesterday. We got her in the middle of July. Severely under weight, open sores and back legs buckling due to muscle loss. The first set of photos was the day we got her and the one next to it was 1 week later. The second set is 1 month and then yesterday. We weren't really sure if she was going to pull through when her owner was telling me what was going on but we both thought "we gotta try". It was a very hard decision for her to move her from her previous barn but sometimes doing what's best for your horse is all that matters. This little lady's progress has been remarkable. She is getting her personality back that I've heard soooo much about and it just warms my heart. When we say we love your horses like our own, we truly mean it. We have such a great team here at Autumn Ridge and we all keep eyes on these fur babies. We are so blessed to have the managers, trainers, boarders and students that we have ❤️

We're not ready to hang our boots up just yet. It has been requested and we are considering doing a jumper day before the chill really sets in. Looking to do our competitive jumper courses and then have a couple fun games for any age to enjoy. Ribbons of course for the classes and if enough interest we May have some tricks or treats 👻

Class list will be posted in the next week-ish and there will be a non-refundable early bird special (this helps solidify numbers for class prizes)

If this sounds like something you're interested in before, we are all stuck inside for the next 6 months ❄️ please send us a message and save the date. October 17th 2026!

And lastly, we have room for 3 more pasture boarders and 2 stall boarders.
