Update: ACCT PHILLY put Blue to sleep due to behavior concerns. He was unable to be handled safely and was suffering in his kennel. RIP BLUE 💔

Update 12/1- Blue is still at ACCT. He has not been able to be safely removed from his kennel yet 💔

Omg, Heartbreaker Blue💔💔💔 This 7-year-old Cane Corso boy is so shell shocked from losing his family due to them moving to a neighboring state. He is beside himself at ACCT Philly and won’t even move for his volunteer friends 😭😭 ACCT has his heavily medicated and he is very scared, growling and falling over himself according to people who have seen him 😣

UPDATE: 12/4/20 ADOPTED!

UPDATE: 12/1/20 Gentry is back from the vet. His vet bill was $108.75. Today is Giving Tuesday if you would like to donate to Gentry's vet bill. He has medicine for his ears. His heart and lungs checked out well. After a few good meals he has really perked up and seems a bit happier. He also tested well with other dogs and cats!
This boy is a sweetheart and deserves a great retirement home!
We want to thank everyone for for the outpouring of support for Gentry. Your support makes cases like this so much easier to handle.

Some of you were asking about the older dog that was dumped. We named him Gentry. He is wise, kind and a class act.
We had Gentry out in the play yard today and he is the sweetest most gentle guy you’ll ever meet. We gave him some soft food and made him comfortable for the night.
He has a raging ear infection that we have cleaned and medicated. His appetite is good but he is sad and confused. Shelters are hard on old dogs and we would live to get him into a home before Christmas. If you know anyone looking for am amazing senior boy please let them know about our boy Gentry.
