A former Bearfoot Ranch Arabian girl spreading love at Bellevue Village Retirement and Assisted Living Facility!
Our former ranch resident, Thee Auditor, is sharing her gentle spirit and bringing comfort to others! She and Jabbar recently visited the residents of Bellevue Village, showing how meaningful a connection with a horse can be.
One of the residents used to ride Arabians. After a devastating car accident, she lost much of her mobility and now uses a wheelchair. When she was brought over to Thee Auditor and Jabbar, she began to cry.
We can only imagine the memories and emotions that moment held for her. Sometimes, simply being near a horse can create a connection that words cannot capture.
Seeing Auditor loved, thriving, and helping others fills our hearts. Thank you to her owner, Molly, for giving her a wonderful home and sharing her gifts with the community. Once a Bearfoot horse, always part of our family!
Molly shared this beautiful reflection in her original post:
“Jabbar and Auditor visited the lovely residents of Bellevue this morning. What an honor to be the stewards of these incredible creatures. Whatever you have heard about Arabians, I can tell you what IS true - they are the most intelligent of the breeds. Sensitive, honest, gentle and kind - they have one of the longest documented histories when it comes to domestication. They were bred for battle, refined by the desert winds into the athletic force that dominates the sport of endurance, challenges the fairness of trainers, and inspires the work of artists the world over. They are living legends, and for those who love them, we will forever push back tears when we see the poetic motion of their powerful elegance. I cannot tell you how humbled I am to share space with them, and I will never stop falling in love with them over and over again. What a beautiful honor to share their grace with others.”
