This one always gets me 🥹 a good breeder doesn’t just hand you a puppy and disappear. You get a little piece of something they’ve worked years to preserve.

Tag your breeder if they gave you one of your favorite dogs ❤️

Many people feel like Rescues organizations and Breeders are on polar opposite sides. They believe that Breeders make more unwanted puppies that end up in shelters. After 40 years I can honestly say that no Lazy Paws pup has ever ended up in one. Responsible breeders take back their puppies when situations change for the families. In fact, we have given homes to many rescues. After losing our rescue Great Pry last Friday to Bone Cancer, we adopted Nakita, from the Athens shelter. She is in rough shape and Haley and I have a lot of work to do but I think she will enjoy the country life!
