WOW!! Talk about an amazing adoption packed Saturday! 🐈‍⬛🐾🐕
Today we saw FIFTY pets go home not only out of our physical shelter but also adopted at the Cherokee Veteran’s Park during the GA Outdoor Festival and Expo.

Catch us AGAIN tomorrow at the Cherokee Veteran’s Park with more available dogs that will be hopeful for their furever. Come see us between noon and 6pm TOMORROW 6/21 @7345 Cu***ng Hwy, 30115.

Come see Buddy (blond scruffy guy seen below) and a few others that want to spend Father’s Day with their new dad!

💙 HOME AT LAST, BLU! 💙

After more than 130 days in our care, Blu’s wait is finally over. Today, she walked out of the shelter and into the next chapter of her life! One filled with love, comfort, and a family to call her own.

When Blu arrived, she had lost everything she knew. Despite this she persevered, birthing and raising 10 puppies. She was an incredible mom, giving her babies the love and care they needed while she waited for her own chance at happiness.

Day after day, Blu greeted staff, volunteers, and visitors with her bold spirit. She watched so many animals come and go, all while hoping her person would find her. Today, that hope became reality.

To Blu’s adopters: thank you for seeing the amazing dog we have always known was there. Thank you for giving this deserving girl the fresh start she has waited so long for.

Happy tails, sweet Blu. We know your best days are still ahead of you, and we can’t wait to see all the adventures that await. 🐾💙

The GA sun is starting to heat up, so are our dogs that are eager for their furevers! 🐶☀️

While our kittens are celebrating Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, our amazing dogs and puppies are still searching for families of their own. From playful puppies to loyal adult companions, we have dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities ready to make this summer their best one yet.

When the Georgia heat turns the walking path into a sauna, we make our own fun! ☀️💦

Today was just a little too hot and humid for a walk, so we broke out the pool and sprinkler for some backyard enrichment. Our longest-term resident, Blu, got to enjoy a special play session filled with sunshine, toys, and plenty of opportunities to cool off. While she wasn’t quite convinced that splashing in the water was her thing, she had a blast soaking up the sun and showing off her playful side. 🐾💙

Blu has been waiting far too long for a family of her own, 139 days in fact. She’s sweet, fun-loving, and always ready to make the best of any day, even the hottest ones. Could you be the one to help her trade shelter days for pool days in a forever home?
