🍂🐾 As the weather starts to cool down we get to look forward tocozy walks, crunchy leaves, and outdoor adventures! Here a few simple safety items can help keep your pets protected!

🦺 Reflective gear: A reflective collar, harness, or leash helps your pet stay visible as the days get shorter.

🔦 Pet-safe light: Add a clip-on LED light to your pet’s collar or harness for evening walks.

🍁 Paw protection: Keep a towel and pet-safe paw wipes nearby to clean muddy or wet paws after outdoor adventures.

🧥 A cozy layer: For pets that get chilly, consider a comfortable sweater or jacket when temperatures drop.

🩹 Pet first-aid kit: Be prepared for minor scrapes, cuts, or other little outdoor mishaps.

🕷️ Flea and tick protection: Fall pests can still be active, so keep your pet’s prevention routine up to date.

🏷️ Updated ID tags: Make sure your pet’s ID tag and microchip information are current.

A little preparation goes a long way toward making fall adventures safer and more enjoyable for your furry family members. 🧡🐶🐱

Dr. Herbie here! As an 18 year old cat, Senior Pet Wellness is a favorite talking point of mine.
As your pets age, their health needs can change. Regular wellness exams can help monitor those changes and catch potential problems early.

For senior dogs and cats, routine checkups, dental care, weight management, bloodwork, and ongoing preventive care can all play an important role in keeping them comfortable and healthy.

🐶🐱 If your pet is entering their senior years, talk with our veterinary team about a wellness plan tailored to their specific needs.

🐾🌈 Remembering Our Beloved Pets on Pet Memorial Day 🌈🐾

Today, we pause to remember the pets who may no longer be by our side, but will always have a place in our hearts. ❤️ Our pets give us so much—unconditional love, companionship, laughter, comfort, and countless memories. Losing them can leave a space that’s impossible to fill, but the love they gave us never truly leaves.

To every pet we’ve loved and lost: thank you for the paw prints you left on our hearts. You are missed, remembered, and loved forever. 🌈🐾
