💜 AZTEC 💜

Y’all… there is just something about this girl.

Aztec is one of those puppies that has me asking myself, “Do I really want to let this one go?” 😂💜

She is a beautiful all-black girl with the sweetest personality and just the right amount of confidence. She’s curious, happy, affectionate, and wants to be right there experiencing everything with you.

We finished temperament testing this weekend, and she handled everything we introduced her to beautifully. New sounds, new experiences, new situations… she took it all in stride. She has such a fun personality, but she also has that incredibly sweet side that makes you want to scoop her up and keep her.

I really think Aztec is going to make an amazing family dog for the right home. She’s confident, intelligent, loving, and just an all-around special little girl.

We are going to be VERY particular about where she goes.

Because if the perfect family doesn’t find her pretty quickly… I have a feeling Aztec might just be staying right here at Wildwood. 👀😂💜

Aztec is currently available for reservation.

Every week they change a little more, and their personalities are really starting to shine. From the thinkers who like to sit back and take it all in… to the little Velcro babies who just want to be right beside you. 🥹

We are SO excited about this litter and cannot wait to see who these babies become.

❤️ Sometimes life deals you a wildcard.

For a while now, we’ve had a vision for something new. We had a name. We had a plan. We knew which litter we wanted it to begin with.

What we didn’t know was just how much that name would come to mean.

On August 11th, my life changed in an instant. What happened in the weeks that followed showed me more about friendship, family, loyalty, and what it truly means to be a team than I ever could have imagined.

Team Wildcard was supposed to start with a litter of puppies.

Instead, it started in an ICU room.

Today, I’m finally ready to share the story behind Team Wildcard and officially introduce the Team Wildcard A Litter. ❤️

There is so much more to this story than I could ever fit into a Facebook post, so I wrote it all down.

Read our story here:

This is only the beginning. 🃏🐾

God always knows. And God always has a plan. Sometimes that plan looks exactly like what we pictured. And sometimes it takes a completely unexpected road to get us where we are supposed to be. Team Wildcard has been something we have been playing around with in our heads for quite a while. The plan....

Apache 🖤

Beautiful. Strong. Loyal. Everything a German Shepherd should be.

But one of the things we are most proud of about Apache is the incredible mother she is. She is always watching over her babies, keeping a close eye on them and making sure everyone is exactly where they’re supposed to be. Her natural instincts as a mother have been amazing to watch.

Apache has the beauty and presence that immediately catches your eye, but it’s her temperament, intelligence, strength, and devotion that make her truly special. We couldn’t be more proud of this girl and what she brings to our program. 🖤

Sorry, Dad. There’s a new cool guy in town. 😏🐾

Like father, like son… but the next generation came dressed in black. 🖤

A little behind-the-scenes puppy chaos. 😂🐾

Nothing better than a lap full of fluffy German Shepherd puppies! These babies are growing so fast, and their little personalities are really starting to shine. ❤️

📸 Updated pictures of everyone are coming soon! I can’t wait for you to see how much they’ve changed.

Which puppy are you waiting to see an update on? 👀🐾

🐾 Agamemnon Update 🐾

The personalities are really starting to come out, and Agamemnon is quickly earning the title of Mr. Velcro. 😂🖤

This boy wants to be right with his people. Wherever you are, that’s where he thinks he belongs. He’s already showing so many of the traits we love about his daddy, Max, who is the definition of a Velcro dog himself.

There’s just something special about a German Shepherd who thinks personal space is completely unnecessary. 😂 He wants to be close, involved, and part of whatever you’re doing.

We’re loving watching this sweet boy’s personality develop! 🖤🐾
