This can include receiving threatening phone calls, being the target of verbal abuse or intimidation in public, or having personal property vandalized. The perpetrators may also engage in gaslighting, a form of psychological manipulation designed to make the victim doubt their own sanity. These tactics can leave the victim feeling isolated and vulnerable.

In some cases, gang stalking may involve enlisting the help of members of the community to target the victim. This can include neighbors, colleagues, or even friends and family members who are manipulated or coerced into participating in the harassment.
