Hello everyone!!! Hope your day is going well. We are still needing help. Let’s be more specific about what kind of help we are looking for. This is a full-time job 40 hours a week. This is a job where you’re actually going to have to work. Standing around doing nothing doesn’t cut it at our store. You will have to clean birdcages. There are birds in the store. There will be bird dander. There will be bird p**p. You might even get bit. Unfortunately you have to be on time. And no, you cannot take vacation or days off in the first week you’re working. This is a fast pace very busy business. You need to know how to write a check. You need to know how to receive an order. You need to know how to price items. You need to know how to answer a phone. You need to be able to deal with customers. You will need to restock shelves and place orders. You will be feeding babies which we will train you for. You will need to work the register. You will need to fill out contracts. You will need to learn to groom. If you’re starting school in the next month or two don’t apply because the job is full-time. If you have a three week vacation coming up don’t apply. We need people that are going to be there 5 days a week not on vacation. If you’re scared of birds don’t apply because obviously we have birds. You also must be over 18 per the insurance.
