October is Black Cat Awareness Month as well as Oct 27th being National Black Cat Day.
Due to the superstitions and history of black cats in our society, Black Cat Awareness Month was conceived to attempt to call attention to these cats and debunk the misconceptions.
This time of year, we are especially mindful of extra safety and scrutiny on applications for them and all cats in general.
For a lot of historical settings and cultures, black cats were actually related to positive things. However, it seems that this myth about them bringing bad luck is the one that has stuck the most. That is why National Black Cat Day is so important. It is all about dispelling this myth and appreciating how great black cats are!
Each has their own special personalities and are just as loving as others.
