Happy 250th birthday to America, we over here at Birch Street Animal Clinic wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July. ❤️🤍💙
Just a couple tips and reminders:
🌭🔥 Enjoying the BBQ? Keep these away from your pets! The 4th of July isn't just about fireworks—it's also a busy time for summer tummy aches and heatstroke.🍖 Bones & Skewers: Cooked bones, kabob skewers, and corn cobs are major choking and obstruction hazards.
🧅 Toxic Foods: Onions, garlic, grapes, chocolate, and anything with xylitol should be kept well out of reach.
☀️ Beat the Heat: Make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water and shade if they are outside during the day!
🐶🐈 More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. Let's keep our furry friends safe! Ensure your pet’s collar has a current ID tag and that your microchip registry info is up to date.
