I’m excited to be able to finally announce that I was accepted into Animal Behavioral College grooming program ❤️ I have been working the past few months on the online part of the certification. I will be ending that portion soon and then going into an internship and then I will be a certified groomer 🙏🏻. Until then my rates will be lower once I get my certification I will be raising my rates and taking in more breed cuts . This has been a long time coming and I couldn’t be more excited to take this journey for my family

I realize I have many new followers that have not met me yet so I thought I’d do an introduction of myself !

I’m Kristen the owner of Red Feather K9 Train and Clip . I have had my small business for 5 years now. I am a mom to 3 kiddos ( 10year old step daughter , 3 year old son , 5 month old baby girl ) . I have a wonderful fiancé Dan 🥰.

As I don’t have any animals myself currently ( we just lost our old man last month ). We will hopefully getting another pup when we are ready .

I offer many different services in my business. Minor grooming , in home nail trims , pet sitting , dog training , Canine Good Citizen testing . I’m looking to add a few more services in this coming year ( stay tuned ) . I have many reviews and references on my page if you are ever hesitant if I’m the right person for your pet needs . And welcome any of my past or current clients to leave comments under this post as well 🙂.

I have been asked this a lot so I thought I’d address it .
I do NOT charge a higher fee for clipping aggressive dogs nails . I do require all dogs to be updated on rabies vaccines . And I will ask for them to be muzzled. If it takes me 5 minutes or an hour I will get them done as long as the family is willing to work with me and trust me . 9 times out of 10 they don’t want to hurt me and the minute they are done they want me to pet them and show them love . An aggressive dog does not mean a bad dog ❤️

Effective immediately Payment is due when service is done ! I will now confirm Apple Pay or Cash App payments before leaving . My first time in 5 years being stiffed of a payment . My rates are reasonable and I don’t charge extra for all the gas I burn . Takes one person to ruin good things for everyone .
