Now that the certificate is here for an official picture, a big congratulations to Sophia Mills for becoming a certified veterinary assistant!! While completing her practicum in high school, Sophia completed hours, skills, and passed her exam making it all official. This certification is through the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and is a great first step towards her goals of being a veterinarian in the future!

As flea and tick season seems to be well underway, we wanted to remind everyone that flea and tick medications sold here at the clinic are prescription items. Meaning we cannot sell them to you LEGALLY unless we have seen your pet and they are a current patient. We are not trying to prevent you from helping your pet, but just like your human doctor, scripted items cannot be dispensed without your pet seeing the doctor.

UPDATE: SHE’S HOME!!

We have a client that lost their little dog while getting her out of the car at the clinic. She’s a small white and brown sh*tzu. We followed her as far as Mobeetie/Hobart until she got out of sight. Her name is Sophie. She is very scared at the moment and may run from you. Currently not wearing her collar because she pulled out of it when she got away. If you can give us a call at 806-323-5395 we will get her owner to her. Thanks for the help!
