Wishing Veritas and his owner all the fanciest smoothest dance moves together! After purchasing him from our sales program, Melinda kept Veritas in training at the farm for 8 more months to bring him from training level to second level + some third level moves. It was a real pleasure to train such a refined horse for an owner who is passionate about French classical dressage and lightness. I’ll miss him dearly but he could not have found a better home!

Some nice shots from Hits last weekend- thanks to ! I didn’t have the rides I wanted with Deseado but I’m so please with the extra power i started to feel on the Sunday - just created some more costly mistakes 🙃 but it’s all going in the right direction and could not be happier with the extra confidence he gets in the ring. And the other good news is that Deseado is getting so good with the ones that he adds some in the 2s now 😆 🥰 It’s a work in progress! And so wonderful to have Peyton help this weekend again - she is Deseado’s favorite, especially when she shares her yummy snacks ;)

Hadrian stole the show 🥇! Fleetwood Farm’s young Andalusian stallion has just been at my farm for 3 months and only had 30 rides before that, last summer. We decided to take him to Hits with Deseado for the experience this weekend. There was no pressure to do anything more than hanging out but he was so good that on the Sunday he stepped in the show ring for the very first time! First test was a little tense, but Hadrian was an absolute star for his second one, getting a first place and 65+! Congratulations to Barbara Anderson for breeding such a gorgeous mover and noble soul! To many more successful shows! Thanks to peyton.mcguan for the most beautiful braids, thanks to Q2 Photography for the great shots and to HITS for managing another perfect show despite the thunderstorm - best footing and drainage anyone can dream of!

63.9 in the Grand Prix on Tuesday with Deseado! He felt the best he ever felt in this test, still some errors, but so happy with how his piaffe and passage are coming along within the test pattern!
We completed our USDF Gold medal with the score, so incredibly grateful to achieve this goal!

Thank you to Paddy Doyle for the best feet - Deseado started out with very thin soles and unbalanced feet, and now he has such strong feet he is only shod in the front and thinking he could maybe go barefoot 💪

Lots of first for Ulli and Dee Dee last Saturday at Windy Hollow!
After one day in June trying to get used to showing, Ulli found her dressage competitor boss mode with Dee Dee this time - so proud of all the hard work!
- Two first places (ok they were only two riders 😆 but still 🥇 )
- First time going down the centerline in the pouring rain
- First time getting an 8 and so many 7s
- First time getting a 1 🤣 🤣 🤣 (for very elegantly not picking up the canter until the beginning of the next movement 😈 very costly mistake 🙃)
- First score towards her bronze medal
- And most importantly : first time feeling confident and powerful in the show ring 🌟
- And it was Vivaldi first time doing 4-2! 62+ with lots of puddles to jump over 😆 and a first place on the Friday too with a 10 points lead 💪
Thank you Windy Hollow for the friendliest of the big show as always!! And for managing to run a smooth show despite all the weather challenges!

We dit it! Yesterday Deseado and I got our cleanest GP test so far with a 60.8 and so many 7s with lots of helpful and positive comments with judge complimenting our elegance. We were only one point from the first place and much room to improve. So proud of Deseado after a bit of a challenging ride at Hits last Friday, and specifically to have gone from a 4 to a 7 for our collected walk ;) We had a very early ride before the heat and the smoke - thank you to Red Tail Farm for providing the most relaxing and beautiful show environment! And thank you to Paddy Doyle for the magic shoes right on time! Thank you to Denise Love for all the help keeping my horses comfy and happy. Photos are from Hits June (thanks Q2 photography!), I was alone yesterday.

Super lesson with Bill Warren yesterday! Focused on straightness and a relaxed swinging back for more impulsion and collection. Deseado felt great under Bill guidance! Big thank you to CDA, Christine Engel and Fern Feldman for organizing and to Liz Doering for hosting at her beautiful Sperry View Farm facility!
