Update: Thank you everyone for the response. Was contacted by a client that had purchased two dogs from us in the past a few minutes after I posted and they agreed to take on another member of the pack/family.

Purebred GSD available for Adoption to a good home. Small but mighty! Born June 18, 2024, Sirius was markedly slower developing than his littermates so we decided to adopt him out to a good home. He has checked out at his vet visits, is eligible for AKC registration and will come with all first year vaccinations. Sirius loves people and has shown a real aptitude for obedience. Adoption fee will be waived for Veterans and active duty service members.

Delighted to have one of our young adults, Sky AKA :Little Spock" complete her obedience with us and go out to her new home with a wonderful family; Tom, his wife Julie and their big ole rescue dog JD. Julie is a certified scent work instructor that uses the discipline of nose work as a way of strengthening the bond of dog and handler as well as giving the companion dog a job that can help with alleviating behavioral issues.

Year in Review 2021: Schwarzer Hund Goes to St. Barts! It was challenging logistically to get a 4-month old German Shepherd pup to Saint Barthélemy in April 2021 with closed borders, tons of EU/ USDA paperwork and multiple flights (ATL, MIami, San Juan, St.Barts) to arrange. Then there was the prep-work of socializing the pup and doing as much training as possible in the alloted time in order to prepare her for the arduous journey ahead. She was one of the quickest and most adaptable pups I have ever worked with and took everything in stride. Our clients are warm, generous and very hospitable folks. I feel fortunate to have had the experience of working with them and their new pup daily for a week in an island paradise that I would likely never have the opportunity to go to on my own dime. There are worse gigs!
