"Unpopular Opinion but hoping it helps educate a bit.

Please don’t choose a puppy based on price alone. ❤️

I understand wanting to save money, but when it comes to buying a Dachshund, the cheapest puppy isn’t always the best choice. Backyard breeders and puppy mills are starting to overshadow responsible breeders. Suddenly everyone wants a puppy that doesn’t have to be “registered” only to turn around and breed them.

If a breeder is offering puppies for much less than others, ask why. Were the parents health tested? Are the dogs properly registered? Have the puppies received appropriate veterinary care? Were the parents bred with health and temperament in mind?

Unfortunately, many people are breeding dogs simply to make a profit without investing in proper testing, research, or the long-term well-being of the puppies they produce. While the lower price may be tempting, it can come with hidden costs, health issues, and heartache later on.

Responsible breeders invest significant time, money, and effort into producing healthy, well-socialized puppies and preserving the breed they love.

Before bringing home a puppy, do your research and ask the hard questions. A puppy is a lifelong commitment and choosing a responsible breeder who has the breeds standards at heart benefits both the families and the puppies themselves. 🐾

Please keep in mind Dachshunds are prone to spine/disc problems known as IVDD as they age which can become expensive. If you do not have the funds for an average breeder fee (typically $1300-$3000) then a dachshund may not be for you. This is why health and genetic testing is very important as it is not the only risk to them."

So FB just notified me that my page is no longer being recommended because I used the word "miracle".
So be it...
I named a puppy Mason's Miracle! Because that's what we were praying for.
Mason needed a Miracle to survive, to pull through, and to keep progressing everyday!
God made a way, when there was very little hope given.
Mason IS a MIRACLE!
Maybe this is my moment, where God said not to deny him. God is King of Kings!
