We had someone ask what CGM do I use. I use freestyle Libre 2 plus. For the most part I really don't have to many issue with it. And if there is an issue they replace my sincer.
Dusty does beat the since by 15 to 25 plus min.
I find that Libre 2 plus is a good deal more accurate then dexcom. But still it is just a tool that I use hand in hand with Dusty. Remember one doesn't replace the other. They work together. Libra helps keeps me from sticking my finger so many times during the day and helps take the load off of Dusty. Dusty give me an advantage of staying on top of my diabetes and other medical issue. With her I can live my life easier. I hope that answered your question. If you have any more please feel free to ask.

This is called, "Hey mom, you are ignoring me but you need insulin. " we just got home from a day In town. I'm just wanting to put my feet up. This is why i trained her to keep alerting till i do what needs to be done.

When you the caregiver of an older person with dementia and you have chronic health issue, life can be hard. I'm in an EBV flare up because I got sick last weekend. I'm still trying to recover from that. Dusty had been amazing. She offers DPT when she knows I need it. She alerts to my many medical issue as each one pops up. All the while I'm over here just taken it day by day. Some days it's pj and veg days. Some days it's run your butt off and pray you can sleep that night. May was better then April. Let's hope June is better then May.

"Mom because you drinking your vitamin C, your suger is up... again." I'm still sick and trying to keep this from getting any worst. But Dusty is on the job.

Well I'm sick. Poor Dusty is on high alert because I'm taken vitamin C, with my vitamin D,K, Zink, magnesium, and other thing to combat what ever has a good of me. The vitamin c will jack up my suger levels. Oh the fun I'm having keeping this anywhere in the OK zone. I'm hoping I feel better tomorrow

Dusty and I had a busy day. We worked out community watch booth at Buffalo days in our home town. It was fun to meet the members of our community. We raffled off one of my turkey and a pair of my bantam chickens. I will say, I was very proud of my birds. We got lots of compliments on how great the birds looked. We met a lot of well behaved dogs there today. The only down side was that it started raining. I mean a full on down pour with hail, rain and wind. Poor Dusty got completely drenched. But she handled it all like a pro. All in all it was a great day.

When is almost 330am and Dusty alerts to a falling blood suger. The house is smelling yummy with a stew in the crock pot. What do you do? Yep taste test time. 😆 🤣 there is meat and veggies in there. Nothing but yummy goodness.

Today was a down day. Mom and I stayed inside and watch Billy Ray Cyrus in Doc. Mom has a crush on him. Then we watched the a Beth and Rip. If you know you know. 😆 🤣. It's kind of cool to watch Lavonne watching The new series with me. She likes the Yellowstone. And the fact that she can follow along and remember the people is great. Mom has dementia. And it's getting to where she can't hide it anymore. So I try to find shows that she likes and watch them with her. We both love old movies. I'm talking like from the 1930,1940, and 1950. So that's always a great thing. I'm surprised she liked Yellowstone. So tonight I'm trying to get her into bed and she is stalling. And of course she ask me if we can watch Beth and Rip, that's what she calls the show. This lady know just who the sucker is. Yep me. I tell her only just one episode. Then we both need to get into bed. She looks at me and told me that," we are ladies of leisure." Well I guess she is right. Yall she cracks me up sometimes. I'm blessed to be able to enjoy some good old classic TV and some really good now a day TV with this ,"little old lady of leisure." Sometimes you just got to take a down day.

After a crazy stressful day. I'm home relaxing with Dusty. She is on the job. Kept alerting but wasn't her normal alert blood suger or bp alert. Turns out I needed my inhaler. We put down my inhaler, insulin pen, and benadryl. She grabbed my inhaler. Dusty for the win. I love this little dog. She knows her job and takes it seriously.
