Roy was already on our schedule for a fall castration but he moved up his surgery date with this globe perforation.

Ocular injuries can be incredibly painful, but Roy went straight into snack mode after his recovery and will feel much better now!

And just like that! We have a building!

It will be some time yet before this is set up as a finished haul in facility but this is a huge first step in improving our ability to care for our equine patients!

This is our 10th consecutive year doing the Fall ride and continuing education with the Missouri Veterinary Trail Riders Association. We were lucky enough to get a lecture on Equine Geriatric Care from Dr. Alison LaCarrubba which was right up our alley!

Some impressive arthritis and bone spurs on this OTTB 👀🏇🏁

This guy was in dire need of dentistry, PPID management, and some baseline xrays. Even though he is no longer in the winners circle, he has a wonderful owner to make sure he "Wins" the retirement he deserves.

Farm Calls may be "less" efficient from the buisness perspective. But when the views are this good and the horses are happy, its okay by me!

Some things are more important than always being as efficient and as profitable as possible every day.

Sometimes with horses, you just never know what you will find when you hit the farm!

Swerve is now 5 weeks post op from her dental CT and tooth extraction at MU. After getting these x-rays on farm, we knew this mandibular tooth root abcess was best handled by the specialists!
